I can't help you further without feedback for each of the many steps I've given you. Otherwise I'm just repeating the key steps hoping you'll catch up.

We work interactively.

In your OP you were trying to boot CD. What happened to the drive since then?

Still waiting to hear what happens when you try booting F8 as shown above, and whether you have any other bootable disks and what their result is. I just keep asking....

i can't go to anything else.

ALL i can do is :

View Bios
View boot order
Open CD drive
And press CTRL + ALT + DEL to restart.

It boots up to Packard bell boot screen and after that it says BootMGR missing. Did you see the video?

From the video, it looks like Bios is attempting to boot from the HD - no matter what you select from the pop up boot menu.

Si - Is reflashing BIOS a last resort if this is the case? He's reset it several times.

Shawn - On BIOS which have the F8 key as Boot Menu, it requires choosing the HD first and then vigorously tapping the F8 key every second to trigger System Recovery Options.

Sometimes it takes many tries to get it to work correctly, to find the correct rhythm.

Have you tried setting flash or CD drive first in BIOS setup? Focus on that for a bit.

See if you can find your latest BIOS version update on the PB website or elsewhere on the web. You may need to flash it to get back the ability to boot a disk.

I tried to find your model on the PB Support Downloads website but it is not listed. You'll need to use one of the tools there to determine how it's listed since PB Support is probably the worst ever seen along with Samsung.

Please confirm whether you have tried booting a PW bootable CD which should autostart on its own. Is the CD drive working? Again: Do you have any other bootable disks like XP you can try to check?
