BSOD during windows installation

Ive have recently been having a lot of BSOD with the memory management error code on my pc lately so I decided to back up my files, wipe my HDD, and install a new copy of windows 7. The problem is that during the installation of windows I keep getting a BSOD with the bad pool header error code. Ive tried to install it with another install disk but got the same result. Anybody know how to fix this, any help would be appreciated.

Its a prebuilt pc from hp, this is what I know:
AMD Phenom II X4 830 2.80ghz processor
3x2 gigs of ram
1TB western digital HDD

Did you wipe the HD with Diskpart Clean Command?

Try install with only 2gb of RAM. Next test the RAM - Test with Memtest86+for 5-6 passes. Swap RAM sticks, check slots for debris.

Next reset BIOS to defaults, set SATA controller to AHCI to try install.

Where did you get Windows 7? Did you burn it to DVD yourself? How?

I cleaned the RAM stots with dust remover spray and left ony a 2 gig stick inside. The installation is going well so far.

I wiped the hard drive with a program called Dariks Boot and nuke.

The PC came with windows already installed, I had wiped the hard drive to get rid of the clutter it came with and re-installed windows with a cd that I burned. I burned it with a program called imgburn. Like I said, After the BSOD from installation I tried to install windows xp a cd that I bought at a store to see if the disk was the problem but I still got the BSOD.

It installed without any problem, guess there was dust in the ram slots. Was that why it crashed in the first place? Thank you for the help anyway, ill make shure to check out memtest. Thanks again

It was working well untill. A few minutes ago when I got the memory management blue screen. Now it wont even boot without a blue screen. Ill make a new partition so that I can burn another install disk and follow your guide. Maybe that will work. It might be faulty hardware that is causing the problem

I did not write down the error code sadly, but it did say memory management on screen. Ill take note of it next time it happens

I ran memtest and it detected no errors. Im now going to follow the windows install guide posted previously to see if it fixes the problem

Its started to show the BSOD even before I stated the installation, but it happens too quickly for my to take note. It appears on screen for about 5 seconds, then the pc reboots.
