Trouble with installing Epson stylusSX235W,error 0x00000057

    Hello,

This is my first post here, and with hope one of the last.
Since 2 days i have a new Epson stylus SX235W printer, and there is my problem also.
I doesnt matter what i do but i cant get the printer driver to install and print anything.
I have tried the following things:
1)the usuall way and follow the steps in the manual
2)using newer drivers from the epson site
3)trying to install with another account
4)clean out everything on the pc that has something to do with epson printer drivers and software, and then try reinstalling.
5)trying to install with norton turned of(and other security software)
6)try to install as admin(normally i am admin on my pc,but could not hurt to try)

So that is my wash list off things i tryed and i did nothing.
Hope maybe someone here can help me to get this thing to print(it already scans)
Thanks in advance for any help. :)

    Welcome to the forum
It's not what you think about this forum, but it's a matter of time and study of each case seperately.
In your #4 you said that you uninstalled everything relating to your printer, but did you think to delete everything in your temporary folder and the history of your IE explorer? because if there is something related to that matter will not let you update your drivers.
    Good luck

I have cleared out evrything to make sure that no "history" could mess up the installation.
Now i have seen forums that state that if you have a pc with the same configuration(OS and printer) and it works on the other one,you could copy some files of the working version and paste it in to the pc that is not doing what it is suppose to be doing.
Is this correct ad where can i find someone that has the same stuff that i have so i could give that a try ?
I'm afraid that if this is not resolved quick, im forced to return the printer to the shop and choose an other one.
I cant wait with that decision for much longer now, because warranty etc etc ar not forever.
Hopefully there is a answer around the corner soon.
    Thanks for the reply anyway

Before returning the printer, ask the shop to install the printer for you, and if they try and can't make it work, then you have to return the printer and replace it with one that work.
For your #1 question, i have an HP-photosmart-wireless printer and i can't help with that question, all you have to do is executing what i have said or wait for someone who have the same configuration as you and try.
    Good luck.

I think YES cause they have your order and you have the receipt.
And you can contact them and ask.
