When you reinstall your operating system, you do so from a bootable DVD or USB key. Therefore, you wouldn't be logged into Windows and running from any account.
when sysprepping the admin account is not gone but is disabled by default. It should have prompted you to create a NEW user account.. did it??
At what point did you get 'fatal error'? After or before sysprep? Need more details.
reboot and hit F8 after BIOS screen and go into safe mode, see if you can login to admin account from there. Your admin account is not "gone" it's just disabled.
My guess is that the image has reached it's rearm limit. If you are going to sysprep an image more then once you should create an unattend.xml file and set it to skip rearm.
From my past experiences and information I've gleaned from other sources the only option you might have at this point is to rebuild your image from scratch.
An error message occurs when you run "Sysprep /generalize" in Windows Vista or Windows 7: "A fatal error occurred while trying to Sysprep the machine"
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Fatal Sysprep errors

I cant find it in my service.Beside where can i find the log?
