Do you have a different video card you can try installing?
Do you have a different video card you can try installing?
The only other one i have is the one on this computer. I could take it out and try after the Memtest if you think that might work.
Reset the BIOS to defaults, set SATA controller to AHCI, unplug all other HD's and peripherals.
Wipe the HD with Diskpart Clean Command using installer Command Line accessing DISKPART At PC Startup.
Are you sure you don't have more than one RAM stick? If so unplug all but 2gb to try install. Otherwise test the RAM.
If this fails write the latest installer ISO to flash stick to see if anything changes: Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
I posted earlier that all that is connected is the CPU, GPU, HD, BDROM, 1 stick RAM (8gb 1600mHz). Everything is brand new out of the box. I just built this computer. I am running Memetest86 right now. Its about 88% done.
I did Memtest86...all is good. I tried switching graphics card...not the prob. Put in a regular DVDROM. Got Windows to load in safe mode. BSOD after first reboot showing 0x00000024. Rebooted 3 times and got to this screen - - ?
I'd start a thread in Crashes and Debugging section unless Greg has more ideas.
Did you do all he requested in post 13?
Once you reply to each previous step given then I'll have more steps for you.
We have a 100% install rate here in countless thousands of these cases as long as User is willing to be thorough and stick to it.
I have a methodical mind...no worries. I am running the Windows Memory Diag Tool right now.
Mem chck all good. I am soooo close! I can get Windows to load in safe mode all the way to 'Completing Installation'...then, it won't start up.
i did everything in post #13. Same thing happens. Windows won't complete installation.
