Can't Install Windows7 Ultimate on NEW BUILD.

I have just built a new computer -

Asus Sabertooth P67 B3
Intel i7 2600K (2nd Gen)
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 32mb cache
ATI Radeon HD 6870
Corsair 16gb DDR3 1600mHz
Thermaltake TR2 RX 650w
LG BDrom/DVDwriter

This is my first build. I have upgraded Mobo bios to 3209. I get the BSOD when I try to load Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. [0x0000007E] Can anyone help? I know I have probably missed something. I did scan though the previous posts breifly to see if someone had the same prob.

Is the Ultimate disc retail, OEM, borrowed, burned, or what?

Do you see anything unexpected in the BIOS?

Have you tried to install with only 1 RAM stick?

Is this a brand new hard drive or has it previously had something on it?

I would do this:

Disconnect everything not needed--anything other than keyboard and mouse, and then try to install.

If that fails, run Memtest86 for at least 5 passes on the RAM to confirm it is OK.

If that fails, swap in another DVD drive or hard drive if you have one.

Otherwise, I would start a thread in the Crashes and Debugging section where they will ask you to upload some files.

All that is connected is BD-ROM, HD, CPU, GPU, 1 RAM stick, Monitor. I am running a Memtest86 right now.
