hey i just split my (originally xp) hdd to 2 partitions C and D.. i have my regular xp on C and I installed 7 on D..
but the problem is that i dont want any files/folders to be seen when im on xp.. so basically i wanna hide everything that Windows 7 has and when im on xp i dont wanna see the files/folders.. thank you

hey bro thanks again.. this method worked perfectly but the problem is that i wanna be able to see my D drive when im on Windows 7 which is on D lol
i just dont want my D to be seen from xp side.. is that possible

For that, you would need to boot into XP instead, open the My Computer window to see what drive letter Windows 7 has (should be D ), then hide say D while in XP.
