Work on the Beta/RC of Windows 7? No

Work on anything other then Home Premium? No otherwise a lot of people would just get home premium and install Ultimate instead, then activate it.

Feel free to ask more questions.

I hope you know that the Beta has already expired, and the Release Canidate will expire March 1st 2010 (I believe).

unfortunately you will have to do a reinstall of home premium, there is no way to do an "in-place" installation going from ultimate downgrading to a lower edition. (ie. home premium) when you do the clean install, it will put all your files in the "windows.old" folder and you can just copy them back into your profile, but you will have to reinstall all your apps.

what do you mean by clean install.. you mean SYSTEM RESTORE back to vista? then install it again but pick HP instead of ultimate?

Just use the re-arm command until your upgrade disc arrives ... then do a clean install of HP...

Good Luck!
