    Sergio -

You will need to check your computer manufacturer's website on the Support Downloads page for your model to look for the apps you want.

I found the fingerprint reader here: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/t...lFamily=804517

Check Windows Updates for any newer drivers, then your Device manager to see any missing drivers which you can also download from the page above.

Perhaps your computer came with an Apps/Drivers CD where you can also look for these.

Or Google the exact name for the hardware listed in the Device Manager and search for the app and/or driver.

Post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management drive map, using Snipping Tool in Start menu, attaching file using paper clip in reply box.

Tell us exactly what you want to put where, and we will help you with the steps.

Greetings all. I have a Toshiba 35G AV600. I was able to load 7 with no issues save one. I cannot get the speakers to work. The system claims that all audio drivers are present and working, and I have installed the unmute exe but to no avail. The only thing that I can think of is that I did not install the unmute 'as administrator' but the notes that I find on how to do that don't seem to apply b/c right clicking on the exe link does not provide me with an 'as administrator' option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you installed the full sound software from your Toshiba Support Downloads webpage for your exact model?

A driver is often not sufficient for sound, webcams, touch features, etc. after clean install. It needs the full software package.

Thanks for the information. I have looked but cannot find the full sound exe that you mention. I assume that since there are no drivers at all for 7 that I would need to look under Vista. Correct? When I do that and drill down to 'sound' the only exe that shows up is the 'no sound after vista install' fix, which leads me back to my original problem of not being able to iaa.

    Finally got it working!

I uninstalled the audio drivers to start from scratch. Then, I installed the RAID utility V1.4.1.1 per this note on the TVAP page -- Special note for Qosmio G35 computer owners: Update the TOSHIBA RAID utility on your computer to V1.4.1.1 or higher before running this "Toshiba Value Added Package" update. Next, I installed the TVAP exe. Finally, I installed the unmute exe. I saved all of them to the desktop and installed them "As Administrator". I did them one at a time and restarted the computer after each. So to recap the order was:
    1. RAID Utility TOSHIBA RAID Utility V1.4.1.1

    2. TVAP Model Content Page

    3. Unmute Content Details

I hope this helps the next G35 user that lost their sound.

    Cheers!

I had trouble with installing Windows 7 on my Qosmio G35-AV600. I followed rpmstl steps and got windows 7 installed and running. Thanks for posting, it saved me alot of time!
It did take about 4 hours to run the Boot and Nuke software.

Since I had to do a clean install, my product key for Windows 7 upgrade would not work since it couldn't find the old licence. I went to the following website and found that option 3 solved this problem:

Clean Install Windows 7 With Upgrade Media and Product Key on Formatted or Empty Blank Hard Drive » My Digital Life
