The thread is marked solved. Just remember when mixing OS and not wanting to effect any already on use the stand alone method of unplugging the already OSed drives before proceeding.

I do that regular when going to install a different version of Windows like now the 8 Release Preview with the 7 host drive unplugged. You can always edit a boot loader later to add new entries in if wanted or simply call up the boot device menu option at post.
