Deleted OS & partition GRUB Loading,Please wait...Error22

Hi, I am new to linux and I have a big problem already.

vary long story short my friend had a daul boot of linux mint 6 felicia & xp pro
i deleted all portitions and when i restarted his computer i get this

GRUB Loading Stage 1.5

GRUB Loading, Please wait...
Error 22

Other times it will say PXE- MOF: Exiting PXE ROM.

it simply won't boot from any sort of disc. IBM support are the dumbest people in the universe, I know nothing about Linux. I have almost all windows installation disk, but it will not recognize it on boot even though I change the boot sequence for cdrom to be 1st 2nd and 3rd. OR 1st cdrom 2nd Lan & 3rd hard disc

is there any way i can install os/boot his computer from mine or do some sort of ghost install

I don't know where else to turn, please help!

Maybe CD/DVD drive is gone.

If in BIOS there is an option to boot from USB just make a bootable USB from installation CD/DVD on another computer and boot USB.
