error 80070005
A month ago some of the Office 2010 updates didn't update after trying repeatedly and then I changed the settings to ignore the updates. And a week ago Microsoft Security Essentials started acting weirdly. MSE would scan, download and then show -installing- and then it says network error. I ignored all these problems and then tried installing the Deep Fritz 13 Chess software which is a setup.msi file and it would install and the icon would appear on the desktop and then it stops at a point and later it show error message and it would simply roll back the installation. Today I updated Windows it worked fine. It has to be a problem with *.msi files installation.

How do I know that it is error 80070005?
I know this because MSE used to display this error. Now, I'm using AVG instead of MSE.
I tried search engines and found some work around but, it's confusing and couldn't get through.
Even this file shows the same error...
