Friend can't install, No signed device drivers were found

This is going to be difficult since I am the middle man here, but here it goes.

A few months ago I sent my friend a Windows 7 DVD for his new computer that he built, and everything went fine. Earlier this week he was building another one, using the same HDD and disk and he kept getting errors that are still unresolved. He formatted his old HDD and still didnt work, and also got a new 320 GB hdd and same problems. He cant even get Ubuntu to install. ive searched for a few hours and couldn't find a similar problem or solution. The exact error message is "No signed drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains all the correct drivers and then click ok." Sometimes he got an error 0x8030001, not quite sure what he did to get that. Anybody have any idea about what to do?

It's really a P8Z68-V LX.

No special drivers should be needed for a basic Windows 7 installation, as long as the SATA controller is in IDE or AHCI mode. (I'm not sure about RAID.)

These kinds of errors are normally due to a bad installer. Where did the disk originate? Was it burned? How does he plan to activate it?

Use the latest official ISO to burn to DVD using the tool in Steps 1 and 2 in this tutorial to get a perfect Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
