Thats where I got the ISO

Used space = 2.47 GB

Don't worry, as soon as you hit that first dialog screen, then remove the stick and shutdown the computer.

Either you have a faulty ISO file or a wrong bootup procedure.

They are going to need you to fill out the System Specs as much as you can and fill them out for the ACER and not for your Toshiba. When you do the precise model will be needed.

Okay i will fill them out as much as possible.. heres the laptop from the ACER website though. Acer Support: Downloads & Support Documents - Notebook / Aspire / Aspire 7741Z

Update your SevenForums System Specs
User CP (located on the top menu bar) |
Your Profile | Edit System Spec (left-hand column)

To gather info, use Speccy (my favorite) or SIW or System Info

In the System Manufacturer Block, enter:
Manufacturer and Model and
ADD the word laptop, desktop, netbook or tablet.
For example:
Toshiba Satellite L305D notebook.

Provide full windows version info, for example:
MS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Use the “Other Info” block for Optical Reader,
Mouse, touchpad, wifi adapter, speakers, monitor, etc

Scroll down and click on SAVE CHANGES.

Well im not a computer wizard so i couldnt fill out much. and idk if what i filled out was correct. So now we wait for an Acer buddy right?

I boot sticks on Acers all of the time. I gave you what works for me every time.

Why will you not answer about the ISO source? I've mentioned it needs to be confirmed or redownloaded maybe a half dozen times.

The thoroughness required to troubleshoot successfully this kind of problem means you do not miss a single suggestion without replying to it in full.

Well check this out, this is no longer my biggest problem. Check out my thread here and shed some light if you can. No HDD has been identified in your system.
