Kris - explore your install DVD - look for the "Sources" folder. Do you have a file called EI.config / EI.cfg?

    Yes or No.

Your problem is easily solved. The ei.cfg file is the ONLY thing that changes your DVD into Starter Edition. Without that file, the DVD becomes Ultimate. PFM - Pure Elfin Magic, I know.

By whatever means at your disposal, burn a new copy of the DVD - without that file.

Burn the DVD at 4x or slower to eliminate any possibility of a bad burn (no comments solicited here from anyone).
