    Triple boot Windows 7 x32, Windows 7 x64 with XP SP3 in one hdd help


    Hello,


    Is it possible to have one partition with Windows 7 x32 and another with Windows 7 x64 alongside an XP SP3 partition (x32)...?

    I am already triple booting 2 Windows 7 x32 and one XP SP3 in one 320gb hdd at present. (Kindly refer to this LINK for a thread I started about my triple boot).

    Is there anything that I need to know so as to make a triple boot of 1 partition with Windows 7 x32, 2nd partition with Windows 7 x64 and 3rd partition XP SP3?

    Can I just reformat one of the existing Windows 7 x32 to x64 to achieve that..?

    Will there be any issues with the Boot folder which is currently residing in the XP partition...?

    You should be able to boot the Win7 installer to install new Win7 over either of the existing Win7 partitions and it's installer will autoconfigure the triple boot correctly.

    @Greg: His winxp partition is active so he boots from that partition. Boot files are also there because it's flagged as BOOT. His C-partition is marked SYSTEM because Partition Wizard is running from within win7 that starts from C.

    Partition wizard and disk managent use different meanings of BOOT and SYSTEM!
