You are going to continue to have problems if you use Hiren's Boot. Excellent back in the XP days but I'm sick and tired of the pain that CD has wrecked and the problems I see here because of its use.

There is zero on that CD that you need.

Hmmm. It was also just a random file, but I just want to find a tool there can open my computer if I forget the password and Hiren's can that, right? Or is there anything better?

What does the log say?

Peter,
Let's go at this one little step at a time.

For security purposes, DISABLE the Guest account.

Let me know when that is done.
