    Is there a Win EasyTransfer for Win 7 to Win 7?


    Looks like I'm going to have to reinstall and/or restore my Win 7 Pro system. Is there a version of Windows Easy Transfer to save and restore docs..pics..data files...etc to a new W7 install and/or a restore from an earlier system image of W7 ?

    I know I will have to reinstall some programs that were installed after the existing restore or system image files...but what's the best way to backup all user data if I have to do a clean install if all else fails and/or I screw up the system restore ?

    Just use Easy Transfer. Tranfer to finger drive etc. Then when ready transter to new intalll.

After transferring my Windows 7 account with EasyTransfer from my old to my new installation all my Windows Live Mail settings and mails are gone. All the folders have been transferred but are empty. And when I open Windows Live Mail it creates a new, empty folder for each account with a “(1)”...
