Folder opening (left panel) in explorer => all is going to the bottom
I'm here to explain a very irritating stuff in the Windows 7 File Explorer.
When you double clic on a folder in the left panel to see the childrens, since windows 95, this folder opens and you see the under folders.
In Windows 7, when I double clic on a folder, the elevator is moving and the clicked folder is moved to the complete bottom of the window.
That means that I don't see the childrens and I need to scroll to get the folder back to top or middle, where I got my mouse.
Sorry for my explanations but I'm a french user so, I try to explain the better I can.
This problem appears on 5 other computers under Windows 7.
Thanks a lot if you have found the parameter to change this comportement.
