How to restore windows 7 with out a CD

    Hey everyone,
We just bought a used computer for our business and it came with windows 7 installed on it. The previous users still had their account on the computer. How can we restore the computer to the factory settings without the windows 7 disc?

Also is there a way to delete all the information on the computer without restoring?

    Thanks everyone

You could try a system restore to factory settings.

What computer is it? Is it a HP, Dell, etc? Provide the model number and we'll be able to better assist you.

Is that a laptop or a desktop? I did a search for that and I was presented with "Wind Top AE2220". Is that correct?

Ok then, my search turned up the correct model. Have you downloaded the manual for that desktop and reviewed it?

If you can't create recovery discs, you should still be ok. The product key should be on a sticker on the case somewhere, and you can download the correct Windows 7 installation ISO, burn it to disc, then reinstall Windows if you should ever need to do that.

You can create a new administrator account, then you can safely disable the previous user's account and delete all of the files under their profile.
