    so only xp is on the drive?

    Do you want to do a clean install or upgrade? clean is better.

    Are you for certain the 32 bit DVD is a good burn? will it boot when inserted while running XP ?

    Yes, it is a good burn, its running right now actually with my hard drive disabled and YES! i want a good ol clean install, if everytihng goes wrong, I have a brand new spankin copy for XP SP3 lol, but lets try 7 first

    In the Bios, is there a setting for ACPI compliant ? Older computers need this to install win7

    One second, quick question, can i do a clean install right now? I just realized I can boot the disk from windows, (clean install?)

    I'm clicking custom, then it shows my hard drives, but I can't delete my old hard drives (my old crap)
