HDD does not[ show up on Install!

Hi all, im trying to install Windows 7 On my brothers Dell Precision 530.

But im having a bit of trouble, i have installed windows 7 on my laptop and desktop no problems, but on his, the HDD does not show up at all when i choose "custom" to do a fresh install.

Anyone else had this problem, and know how to fix it?

Cheers

If you are around your brothers computer, does he only have 1 partition? Are you booting from the dvd? and not inside windows.
