Another mpr to gpt problem..

Hey,

I have a Westerd Digital AV-GP 3Tb, installed win 7 x64 ultimate and saw that 2Tb was in use and 74xGb unallocated space. So I'm missing almost 1Tb..

So before asking about the steps to convert the disk to gpt from win 7 installer,

my MB need to support uefi to be able to install win 7 on the gpt disk?

I can't seem to find info if the MSI P35 Neo supports uefi..
MSI Global ? Mainboard - P35 Neo

Any help appreciated!!

Offhand, I would have to say a board with that chipset would not support UEFI. Looking at the bios would give you a better idea. But I will check later, just in case.

You can use a GPT drive if you are not booting to it. SSD might be a good choice for boot drive... if it would be compatible with the motherboard.

There may be some utility you can use to give full access.
