Windows setup cannot configure hardware on this pc!!!

    Hi All,
I have been doing lot of reading and looking around but cannot seem to get past this problem. I recently bought a new HP laptop, i7 processor, Navidia GT6300M video card, 8 GB RAM. HP original windows come with so much bloatware and have so many problems that i want to do a fresh clean windows 7 install on the machine.
So i got a bootable windows 7 USB drive, actually i downloaded windows 7 home premium from internet and used windows 7 usb tool to make usb drive.
When i go install it, first i come to partition table, HP has four partitions, one system and one recovery and two other small ones. I have tried installing after removing all partitions and make just one system drive, i have also tried keeping the paritions and install on system drive. Every time it goes through the install, reboots, does get through updates and all and on the last part gives the above statement and then i cannot get anything to work. I am able to restreo back to factory using recovery discs so windows work that way.
I tried installing intel RTS driver before windows installation as suggested by microsoft, however after doing that, setup cannot find the hard drive and cannot install so does not even go as far as above.
Any Help with this will be appreciated. It is a laptop so opening and removing additional hardware is not an option.
    Thanks

Read through these steps for Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 including the Special Notes for HP Owners at bottom.

Check in Disk Mgmt that there is no EFI Boot partition as you may have an EFI BIOS requiring special steps.

If not follow the tutorial to see if it will install. If not wipe the HD first with Diskpart Clean Command accessing DISKPART At PC Startup

Report back for additional steps if needed.

Thanks for your help and steps listed in the links. I have followed tutorial but leaves with the same problem. I do not have access to disk management as windows are not installed currently. Is there any other way through commands prompt to check for EPI or should I do factory restore and then use disk management?
I will try diskpart and clean and see what happens.
    Thanks

Of course I meant to check in Disk Mgmt before you started reinstall.

Enter BIOS setup at boot to see if there is an EFI Boot disk listed in BIOS Boot Order. If so remove it, set HD first to boot, boot installer using F9 key to Clean the disk followed by the command "Convert MBR" then try install.

If this fails, download a new ISO for your licensed version from link and burn to DVD using Steps 1 and 2 in tutorial. Next try writing to flash stick to try booted install.

Sorry for the late reply and thank you so much for your instructions as I was able to install fresh windows 7 on both my HP and sony laptops.
Now if you could tell me how to go about installing nvidia geforce gt300M on my HP laptop. The driver on the HP wensite keep stating that i install intel driver first and i have installed all intel drivers on the HP site, getting driver from Nvidia does not work as it states hardware not recognized, when I select check my hardward it detects the card but when loading the right driver states the same thing.
    Thanks

Did you follow the procedure for handling drivers in Win7 given in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7?

What drivers were provided by Windows Updates? After all updates are done, what drivers were still missing? What driver did Display have? Did you install any other drivers?

It may be prompting for chipset drivers from the maker's Support Downloads webpage.

Thanks for the prompt response. I did follow all instruction. Nothing is showing as missing driver in the device manager however, Since i have both intel HD video card and nvidia card, I am able to use Intel HD but not nvidia as that cannot be installed. I have downloaded and istalled all drivers available on HP website yet nvidia driver still wont install.

You have onboard video display chip on the motherboard (not the hD), correct?

What is selected in BIOS setup for display? Check all related settings. You may need to re-enable or reinstall the video card.

Then enable Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware, if driver doesn't load via WIndows Update run the Nvidia auto-detect driver updater: NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Automatically Detect NVIDIA Products
