I have a laptop that needs to have an OS installed, however the screen does not work for it. Is it possible to install Windows 7 onto the hdd while connected to my desktop?
Is there some kind of way to emulate the hardware in my laptop for the install?
Cheers.
Nah that doesn't work. I think there is an issue with either the mobo itself or just the gfx chip. As a long shot I took the hdd out and reformatted it, but didn't think about the installing of an OS onto a different system than what it needs to be on. Silly I know. It is just mainly a longshot incase the problem was software related.
