Okay. I'm not sure if I burned the file on the disc the right way but when do I enter the disc or what is the next step since it doesn't actually go to the home screen? I put the disc in and it makes a noise like it's reading it but then nothing happens?

    Hi,

I hope you managed to extract the .iso file from the 7z.

It won't work if you burn the 7z onto a cd - you have to extract the .iso from it.

Then burn the .iso to cd.

Not sure how you would extract it on a mac.

Anybody got a mac knows how to do that?

Ther is this free app. at the Apple store - I have no idea if it is any good - I don't have a mac.

It is the first one on the popular apps. list - if that means anything

Please explain what this means. An ISO is an image file used to burn a bootable DVD.

Are you trying to Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 ?

If so use the ISO in step 1 to burn to DVD or write to flash stick with the tool in Step 2, boot it and follow the steps to get a perfect reinstall. How to Boot your Computer from a Bootable CD or DVD
