What drivers are still missing in Device Manager after optional Updates are installed?
Don't know yet... haven't gotten that far.

I do know that the click pad is acting weird, so I need to get that driver.

It was acting just fine before, so I'd imagine that I need to get the driver since it's probably running on something generic from Windows.

Each drivers on the Lenovo Support Downloads webpage will have minimal software, except the Display which may have more which can be turned off in msconfig>Startup since it's not needed.

But I would stick with the drivers Win7 wants unless there are some missing or performance glitches.

OK, thanks for the tips...

Only thing I don't like is the "log off" and "log on" crap... like when it goes to screen saver and I move the clicker to bring it out of that it shows a picture of my account and says it's locked and I have to click on it to go to the regular desktop.

I never setup any accounts or passwords (it does not ask me for that, thank God!) as I want it to operate under system admin since I'm the only one using this machine.

My regular desktop computer never did this, so I need to figure out why this one is doing this cause this is very irritating. Any ideas on that seeing I never asked it to do the account logon, log off thing?

Is that like a stripped down version?
Try this tool from Microsoft: Microsoft Store Online

You give it an ISO and it will format a USB stick and do all the hard work for you. Works well for me!

Go to Control Panel>Power Options, "Require a Password at Wakeup", select "Change Settings Currently Unavailable", then "Don't Require a Password."

Even if it does not ask for a password now???

All it does is shows my little account icom in the middle of the screen and it says locked under it.

All I do is click on the icon and it goes to the standard desktop.

Yes, to restart to desktop after Sleep or Hibernation you must follow the step above. That's why I gave it to you.

OK, since it was not actually asking for a password (and I never setup to have a password), I thought there might be some other procedure involved.

OK, I'll try that and see how that works out.
