    Reinstallation of Windows 7 Question

What I normally do when I reinstall Windows 7 is start with a hard drive comprised entirely of unallocated space, click drive options (advanced), click new, choose the maximum space available, and then Windows 7 creates the system reserved partition, and I install Windows on the other, much bigger partition. Is it true however, that once I see the unallocated space, I just have to click next? Is the system reserved partition created if I do it this way?

Yes it does. The installer will create the 100MB partition unless you work around it.
