| Windows 7 Professional x64 2,055 posts The Wild West | IDE ot AHCI for SATA drives (SSD and regular) I would like the good and bad about running your SATA drives in IDE and AHCI modes. I have 3 drives. 1 SSD and 2 normal hard drives. Does it even make a difference? I have an Esata bracket that I want to run in AHCI mode but how about the normal system and data drives? What is the best way to set up drives? IDE or AHCI Thanks for any information. |
