Windows 7 HoPr Install Problems on x64 machine.

Okay, i have found the partition number for the C: drive now.

i am going to run the clean disk, and then i will boot from my ( working ) Windows 7 USB disk.

I have encountered a serious problem.

When i try to run the CLEAN command, the CMD window tells me that the cleaning is not allowed on the current start-, system-,sidefile-,crashdump-, or slumber- diskunit.

I assume you are trying to clean the disk containing the C partition?

At that moment in time, from what partition or disk is the PC booted?

You are not following any of the steps given or replying to our requests to know what you are doing.

I asked you if you want to reinstall Win7 to C. Answer the question now please.

If so then boot the installer and try installing now to C using the steps I gave you in my last post. What happens?

I have run the commands as i was instructed to do.
Now i am being told by cmd that i have no partitions on my Drive, and i can no longer open diskmgmt...

to be specific:
I looked back into the thread, and found your first post.
i ran the commands ( and YES i did select partition and disk )
i ran the clear command.
and that's pretty much where i am at now.

i am either checkmate, or you guys have a solution
( i doubt there is one though )

That's because you blundered away without replying to a single one of our comments trying to warn you that running Clean command wipes everything from the disk. Did you suddenly lose the ability to read? I've never seen any behavior so completely oblivious to repeated dire warnings. How old are you?

You said you wanted to reinstall Win7 but couldn't. I told you to wipe the HD with Clean command, that this is destructive and will wipe everything out so back up your files.

You then expressed concern about it wiping your Win7, so I repeatedly asked if you wanted to reinstall to another HD. IF so you were clearly told to unplug the HD with the Win7 you want to save.

But you blundered on to wipe the HD with Win7 and now you wonder why you can't get into Disk Management? What kind of nonsense is this? Are you 12 years old? Do you only read your own posts and ignore our desperate attempts to warn you?

If you have data in the Win7 which you wiped from the disk before backing up, then you can still recover the partition using Partition Wizard Boot CD's Partition Recovery Wizard - Video Help.

If you actually read something we said after the first post and backed up your data, you can now try reinstalling to the HD you wiped: Clean Install Windows 7

Okay, last entry on my behalf.

I messed around, looking through these pages again ( this time thoroughly looking through your links ) and with a little bit of help from another site... i now possess a working windows 7 registered PC.
I could not have done this without you guys. I know that i may have ignored some of your help and been giving out more questions than answers. i am truly sorry, and i know i should have put more time into it.
