Need help finding SATA drivers for my Insyde Mobo after failed XP inst

I have some software that I really want to use, but refuses to install on Windows 7, even in compatibility mode. So I was trying to perform a dual boot install with XP as a secondary OS.

When I attempt to install Xp I get the blue screen of death with the error message which google tells me is in relation to XP not having SATA drivers. The problem I have is locating the particular SATA drivers I need.

I have an HP G62-A27SA laptop with what the BIOS tells me is an Insyde F. 23 motherboard. However it doesn't seem they have a big website like ASUS to type in the model and find what you need. Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I actually found that already. The issue isn't putting the drivers into the existing install CD (hopefully that part will go ok!!). it is the locating of the SATA drivers of my motherboard which I need to put there in the first place.

HP doesn't oblige by telling you the motherboard's chipset.

Elsewhere, I find that the chipset is probably an M880G.

It's not obvious to me that AMD has made XP drivers for that chipset.

Anytime upgrade to Windows 7 Pro followed by the installation of XP Mode, maybe? (You may lose performance, as it runs XP in a VM, but it's there to allow runiing legacy programs.)
