Verifying DMI pool Data after installation

hey guys,

yesterday i tried to update from vista to Windows 7 ultimate oem.
as he was finishing the final settings a little red errorbox showed up and my computer inmediatly restarted.

unusually my pc seems to boot from my geforce 8600 gt ? cause usually i see award bios and now there's some kind of nvidia vga bios ?

anyway after that, my acer logo shows up and then hangs at verifying dmi pool data..

thats what ive tried :

- unplug and replug my hd
- set my bios to optimized settings
- hd is 1. way to boot
- i tried to update the bios, since its from 2007, but i dont have a floppy drive, i cant boot from a usb stick and i wasnt able to start the flashdrive of a boot cd
- this morning i tried to install it completly ( with formating c ) ... same thing.

my pc is

acer aspire m1610
2gig ram
intel 1,8 ghz dual core
160 gig hd (SATA , i think )

thank you ,
peter

ps : sorry for the lack of information, usually i dont get errors like that. if some informations are missing, tell me and i'll post them
