windows 7 wont complete install. restarts install or bsod

Hello everyone. first off, thanks for taking the time to consider my problem.

i know this is quite a redundant issue, thank you for your patience.

First off this is a newly built computer, all fresh components. after cleaning/activating the hdd via shift +f10 at Windows 7 setup,(which took me a day to figure out) i was very excited to see my hdd available for Windows 7 installation. as i proceed windows does its thing, after installing its time for the first restart. it restarts right back to the initial windows 7 setup. ive done a lot of research, and majority of the problems seem to be the boot priority in bios. so i made sure that it was usb-hdd, then hard drive. (Windows 7 on flash drive for me, no dvd burner available). still the same thing, right back to initial setup. i tried maybe to remove the flash drive during the 10 second countdown to restart, but when it restarts, the windows splash screen comes up and then blue screens and restarts real quick. cant see what the error is on bsod,

there have been a couple different start up issues, "windows did not start properly" "select version of windows to start from" (or something to that effect.) but its all the same outcome. windows 7 just wont finish installation.

i know this flash drive works cuz i used it to upgrade on my gf's laptop. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Did you wipe the HD with Diskpart Clean Command?

Check for newer BIOS version. If none, Reset BIOS to defaults, set SATA controller to AHCI.

Set HD first to boot in BIOS setup, trigger stick to boot using one-time BIOS boot menu key at boot.

Where did you get Windows 7? How is it written to stick?

Simple fact is you have a hardware problem with the new system. Some piece of hardware, more then likely the RAM, is causing the system to crash after the initial setup starts and reboots.

Run Mem Test program to check the RAM.

hey guys! i ended up getting the computer to work. i had used win2flash to put the os on the flash drive. it worked fine for many computers, i dont know why it didn't work on this. luckily my boss had a spare recovery disk of windows he wasn't using cuz his laptop died, so he gave me that. Greg i did end up going into the command prompt and wiping the hard drive and "activating" it. Edwar, i thought that a possibility as well, i ended up running a ram diagnostic on both sticks, and both were fine, and took one out when continued to attempt the install.

everything worked out tho. thanks guys for the reply's! have a good one, might be back someday
