can't upgrade to windows 8

i upgraded my desktop fine, 2600k pc

can't upgrade my sager np8130

i am using the usb instaler I made with the windows 7 usb tool, and I upgraded my desktop fine.

Trying to do it for my laptop, but it's not working.


I get to the part where it says your pc will restart several times.

But very quickly it says "Windows 8 installation has failed"

I tried just booting form the usb, but then it says to resume my upgrade from inside windows
are you even trying Microsoft...?

but cpuz nor speedfan are running

Fixed: followed this guy's solution, which isn't even RELATED TO WINDOWS 8
USMT Fails with Duplicate SID Error

in XP if you click on right clicking on My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> User Profiles Settings
Listed here there are two instances of NEWDOMAIN\username - Once I delete the reference to the old domain the migration works no problem.
Are you seeing that type of thing?
