Windows Error Message after changing Active Partition

Hey guys, hopefully this is the right section as I can‘t find another. Anyway, so my Lenovo ThinkPad X130e was supplied to me by my school and the government, this laptop is really locked down, bios needs a supervisor password to change boot priority etc. I gained admin through my own exploit and partitioned my 300Gb C: drive into a c: 250gb partition and an e: 50gb partition, then I installed windows 8 RTM onto the e:. Anyway, I was using a program my friend supplied to shrink the c: further and extend my e: I shrunk the c: but couldn't resize e: Then while closing the program it asked about changing e: to the active partition, I clicked yes cause at this point I was getting annoyed and just wanted to use the internet. I rebooted the computer and ran into this error
Windows Failed to start. A recent hardware or software etc.

    File:\boot\bad
    Status: 0x000000f
Info: The boot data for your computer is missing or corrugated

okay, here's the trouble, I can't boot from cd as its a laptop, USB can't boot because of the bios lock and I cannot lose any of the windows 7 data. I have another computer and an adaptor for my laptop harddrive to connect to a pc through USB (acts as an external hard drive). I don't mind losing win8 either. But how can I resolve this, any help would be greatly appreciated

Nevermind, I fixed it by marking c: as active on another pc.
