Comparing copied files: How to

Hello

I copied data files from my SSD to a new Hard disk location. In the process, I had a warning that I need an administrator right to copy one of the file. After I pressed enter, the process did continue.

The original folder has a lock in the icon. In the mew copy, the folder does not display the lock icon. So it is not an exact copy.

How can I copy all data and all administrator right to a new folder?
How can I compare both folder to make sure that they are identical before I continue with the process

to move stuff that requires administrator rights you would need to be logged in with an account that has administrator privileges.

As to comparing and transferring files, you can use FastCopy (the portable version), it's already set to copy the files not present in the destination directory (that means copy the same folder all over again with FastCopy and it will skip all files already there). And also runs faster than Windows's own copy-and-paste.
