upgrade windows 7 32bit to 64 bit problems
I wanted to upgrade my windows 7 from 32bit to 64bit, I checked the PC and it said it was suitable to do so. I inserted Disc with upgrade 64 on it and when I tried to reboot a message came up say that it couldn't open the files as it was running 32bit. So I then restored the PC to it's former Vista 32 bit system and in doing so cleaned the drives. (I had backed up my files but not, I'm afraid, my drivers) I then tried to run the 64bit Windows 7 disc and it again said no. So I installed the 32bit thinking that I could upgrade to 64. That won't work either and now I can't connect to the internet to get directly.
So, 1) why won't it read the 64 bit disc?
2) did I lose my drivers and if so how do I get them back.
Help me please as it's driving me mad!
thanks
