Switching PC's

I was wondering if anyone knows how to move Windows 7 license from one PC to another. I originally installed it on my desktop to try it out but I want to move it to my laptop.

Either change the license key of Windows 7 on your desktop, or format the drive so that it's no longer in use (it is against the EULA to use the same license on multiple machines at once). If you ran out of activations you will need to call up Microsoft and explain the situation.

I thought there was no restriction on the usage of the product key for the current Windows 7 test systems. For a normal license, however, the restrictions explained above apply.

Good point.

I forget that some people might not be using the final version. Although with free trial available I can't imagine why
