Reinstall Windows?

I have Windows Home Premium 64 bit. I've recently had problems with bloatware and viruses and now rootkits; and I'm getting tired of the slowness overall. I'm near resorting to restoring my computer to a clean install of the system; But I do not have the ability to create any restore or backup discs; nor do I have a Windows installation disk since my laptop came with the system preinstalled.

I have an 8GB USB and a 4 GB CD available for this.
Is there any way to go about this without messing up the activation of my system?

Everything you need is in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

Be sure if you save any of the data from the infected PC that it is scanned thoroughly using MSE and Malwarebytes.

May I mention. Because you had a rootkit their is a chance that anything that was on the infected computer, pictures, files, folders, music, programs ect. can be infected. If they are not clean and you put them back in your computer with the new install you could infect everything all over again. This is intended to be a friendly reminder.
