    Hi,

During boot, keep pressing the ESC key to get the menu that allows you to boot from DVD or USB.

Did you setup USB boot as first boot option in BIOS boot priority?

Use the installer burned to disk or written to USB stick from Step 1 and 2 in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which steps are the same for retail Win7.

Then enter BIOS setup to set DVD drive first to boot, then HDD: How to Boot your Computer from a Bootable CD or DVD.

Boot flash stick by tapping one-time BIOS Boot Menu which may be ESC, DEL or F8 on Asus depending upon your model. When you get the boot menu look for stick under USB, REmovable or HD's. You may have to expand an entry to see the stick model. Select it to boot.
