Install Copies of W7 on Dif PC's

Hello so i Build and purchase used PC's Then Upgrade them and resell them i was wondering if there is a way to install a LEGIT Key on each of them or do i have to buy a new copy of Windows 7 for like 79$ each on Newegg.ca every time? Like i don't know about OEM Keys can they be installed on more then one computer?

basically this is what i want, i wanna install windows 7 on all the PC's i build or Fix and put a LEGIT key on each (don't want legal problems of selling a Pirated/cracked OS to a customer)

    Thanks

    -Matt

Well you're more or less a System Builder so you conceivably qualify for Builder's OEM so that you can affix a legal COA sticker on the machine, and not subject yourself to being charged with a crime for selling pirated merchandise.

The only better pricing is for Home Premium Family Upgrade 3 pack which is intended for friends and family to share the same key so would not work for your purposes unless the PC's are for close friends or family. You'd also need a qualifying XP or Vista which came on the PC even though it doesn't have to be installed to Upgrade.

Just keep in mind that any machine upon which you resell Win7 must have affixed a COA sticker showing it is a Genuine copy with a Product Key so buyer can reinstall as they please.

Have you considered reinstalling the licensed OS which already has a COA sticker onboard? Then the user can decide whether to upgrade, or buy an Upgrade license for you to install for them.

What do you mean by that , like if i buy a OEM Disk from Newegg.ca (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16832116986) is that what i need and then what about this COA thing

Yes, that is retail Builder's OEM which comes with a COA sticker to affix to the machine showing the Win7 intstalled on it is genuine.

It is meant for System builders. What you are doing rehabbing and reselling PC's most likely qualifies.

OEM has in recent years been sold to anyone, even without the qualifying hardware purchase that was once required.

Your intended use is closer to what is intended according to this quotation of MS rules for OEM strictness.

The link in your message is for one computer. The COA (Certificate of Authenticity) is a sticker that is put on the PC with the Key to input in Windows. As Greg said in message 2, you can apply for a System Builders OEM and get each one at a reduced rate. This link explains it.
