Windows wont reboot after moving to hybrid HDD

New poster - so be gentle please!

I've been trying to migrate Windows 7 to a new 250G Seagate Hybrid SSD.

I used Clonezilla to clone the three parititions (the main C: drive with Windows, the 100M hinden drive and the recovery drive - don't know if this is HP specific?). The cloning worked fine.

I then disconnect the original HDD and restarted.

When the PC boots from the new hybrid drive - it just has the flashing cursor in the top left hand corner of the screen? I've tried running the Windows repair disk several times - it did some work but to no effect. It did though recognise the partition where Windows was and labled it C:.

Every time I boot from the disk it just gives me the flashing cursor in the top corner of the screen.

Any help would be very much apprciated!

Thanks!

Just a note on the two tutorials that BlueRobot gave you. I assume you would rather leave the Clean Install for the last option. On the other, the transfer to the SSD. It tells you this in the tutorial, you can spend $20 and get a program that does the whole thing for you or it gives you the steps to do it without the program. The steps are kind of long. If you have $20 in your pocket and you can still eat tonight, I suggest getting the program that is described. It takes a lot of the headaches out of the transfer.

Another option is Acronis cloning/imaging app which comes free if you have any WD or Seagate HD in the mix. There is also free Macrium which is more recommended than Clone-zilla which I've never seen recommended anywhere. I'd use Windows 7 backup imaging before that.

Once you're sure you've imaged over the Windows 7 and it's System Reserved partition if it has one, unplug all other HD's and peripherals, attempt to boot Windows 7. If it won't boot Mark Partition Active the SysReserved (preferred) or Windows 7 partition, then run Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times
