Another option is Acronis cloning/imaging app which comes free if you have any WD or Seagate HD in the mix. There is also free Macrium which is more recommended than Clone-zilla which I've never seen recommended anywhere. I'd use Windows 7 backup imaging before that.
Once you're sure you've imaged over the Windows 7 and it's System Reserved partition if it has one, unplug all other HD's and peripherals, attempt to boot Windows 7. If it won't boot
Mark Partition Active the SysReserved (preferred) or Windows 7 partition, then run
Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times
