Windows 7 Fails to finalize installation

Hey guys....my Wife's computer was messing up on her and was giving us a few different problems. I did a clean install on it and when it gets to the finalization it just stays there and won't go any further...it stayed there for over an hour and when i left it overnight the system was unresponsive the next morning.

    Any ideas??

    Here are the system specs...http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/cont...E205-S1904.pdf

    no upgrades were made.

Start with the latest official installer wSP1 ISO burned to disk or written to flash stick from Steps 1/2 in
Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 which steps will get you a perfect reinstall so study closely.
In addition wipe the HD first with Diskpart Clean Command accessing Command Line by pressing Shift + F10 at first screen when booting installer.

If install hangs again, enter Device Manager during the final phase to Disable any erroring devices (!), likely the Display Adapter: Device Manager - Access During Windows 7 Installation . Then if install will complete update driver from desktop.

Yea...i formatted the HDD first...less problems that way no matter how you look at it.

It turns out that the HDD was toast so I just got a new one and just spent 2 hours taking the gorram laptop apart and putting it back together. I'll NEVER buy a Toshiba again so long as I live.
