Hmmmm .... tried that ... no go. I can install it to my XP hard drive instead and forget about instaling alongside Win7. 64 bit Win7 is clearly balking at sharing it's hard drive with Ubuntu.

First post, nice forum. I prefer GRUB, it's real easy to setup. Just boot with the ubuntu live cd, then install grub manually. Follow the steps on the webpage below.
