    Adobe CS3 with Windows 7

I have run across problems using CS3 Master Collection with Windows 7 myself. I had been using a full version of it for two years and ever since upgrading to Windows 7 I have slowly been having problems with it. It seems the more updates that come out for Windows 7 the more problems I am having with CS3. The straw that broke the camels back was when I installed Office 2010, it compeltely killed any chance of using any part of CS3 expect for Acrobat 9. I unfortunately have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to either dumb down my system or break down and purchase the newer version of Adobe Master Collection. I suspect because of the plug-ins that go between office and Adobe, that microsoft just isn't supporting the older languages if you will anymore and so they can't understand each other, therefore causing the problems. I am with you that Adobe is a dead end because it is two versions old now and they aren't going to support it anymore they are just going to push for you to buy the newer version.

A good friend of mine has it running on ten different systems in his company, without issue, including systems running Office 2010. Adobe's installers are generally crap anyway, and have given many issues in the past.
