OK you answered one question. What about the others? There are usually 4-5 questions and steps given in each of my posts in this thread and you answer only one each time, wasting 3/4 of the effort. Some kind of attention deficit disorder?

Here are the steps that i followed to what youposted for me.

Unplug all but the target HD, and all peripherals.

Boot the Windows 7 installer, at first screen press Shift + F10, run Diskpart Clean Command.

Close Command Box, click Install Now, then Custom>Drive Options to create install partition or just click Next to begin Clean Install Windows 7.

If this fails, reset the CMOS. In BIOS setup set SATA controller to AHCI to try install. Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS

Now boot the Windows 7 DvD, at first screen press Shift + F10 to open a Command prompt, Type:
    DISKPART
    LIST DISK
SEL DISK 0 (replace 0 with the Windows 7 target HD number)
    CLEAN

I did all these and still nothing i havent done a new win 7 cd yet ill try doing a new one again
