Sorry, I needed to clean this up a little, I was exhausted when I wrote it:
Hi, I'm having some trouble with re-deploying an image. I had a Panasonc CF-C1 tough book setup I sysprepped/imaged and deployed to 10 clients. I'm doing the next 15 tablets and need to make some changes to my master image.
so I took the old image, wrote it out to one of these Panasonic CF-C1, booted and at mini-setup hit ctrl-shift-f3 to enter audit mode, make my changes to some shortcut names on the users desktop which I will be copying to , grab the latest windows updates,
delete old user profiles, here HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList and here c:\users
slmgr /dlv tells me i have 3 rearms remaining
so I go to rerun sysprep with my usual switches
sysprep /generalize /oobe /shutdown /unattend:unattend.xml
System shuts down, great.
SO I write the image and on start up I get "windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computer's hardware"
I even tried making no changes, just entered audit mode, reran sysprep and I get the same thing what gives?
