    Hello refacho,

    Welcome to the Seven Forums.

Did you burn the iso to disk or did you extract the iso and burn the files and folders to disk? If you did the latter, I don't think the disk will be bootable. Wasn't when I did it that way.

Hope you get it sorted. Please keep us posted.

if the above does not apply
this can also mean that refacho has eithier a bad disc or a bad iso

either burn it again with the lowest burn setting and if it does not work redownload it again....

Hmmm. In addition to burning at lowest speed, as darkassain suggests, if you have the option to verify the burn, do so.

Are you using the same DVD player to burn as to install or are you downloading and burning on one comp. to install on another?

I'm stumped, sorry. Maybe someone else has an idea?

I can think of only one possible workaround, not a fix. If you have a set of XP boot floppies, you might be able to boot from those. At the A> prompt you could cd to your drive containing the DVD and type setup.exe and hit enter. If I remember right that is how I did a couple fresh installs way back when.

I'm assuming the comp runs fine in XP.
