Factory Defaulting a Sony Laptop but says serial key has expired.

So, my Dad wanted my old laptop because I don't use it anymore. I factory defaulted it however, a message popups stating the following, "Sorry, this trial version expired on October 23, 2042." I'm not sure whether it's windows 7 or not. I really would like some help on this because there seems no other way around this without getting past this. I don't have the case anymore and the box.

Thanks.

If that fails and the Product Key is still readable on COA sticker then you can Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7, or if it's Vista use Vista ISO download
