| | Help with disk partition I have one disk which is set up in disk management as the picture shows:  On each end is disk space that I would like to combine to make into a separate partition, so I can install a separate OS for boot. Can this be done? If so, recommendations on method would be appreciated. While I have a full backup of current drive, I hope to not mess things up requiring an install |

| | Can be done with the Bootable CD of Partition Wizard: Free Partition Magic alternative, partition manager freeware, partition magic server, partition magic Windows 7 and free Partition Manager software for Windows 7/8/VISTA/XP/2000 and Windows Server 2003/2008/2000. |

| | Download PW boot CD linked above, Boot into PW CD to delete the partition on the left end then follow Partition Wizard Resize Partition - Video Help. Then use Same Resize procedure with the Free space on the right end. Have a Windows 7 DVD or System Repair Disk standing by since Resizing on the boot sector can cause unbootable Windows 7. If so boot into disk to run Startup Repair up to 3 Separate Times. |
